Idylwild Kansas

On the county map idylwild can be found in Townsnip 6-south and Range 3-east.  On the township map Idylwild can be found in section 27.
 
Idylwild Post Office.
 
Idylwild post office open September 17, 1897 and ran to July 31, 1901.  By 1918 Idylwild was no longer being shown on any maps.  Mrs. Alma Z. Smith, was the first and only Postmaster.
 
Idylwild Cemetery.
 
Originally established by the Church of the "Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints". This cemetery is located four and one half miles north of Green and four miles west.
 
One business man who used Idylwild as his P. O. address as of 1900.
 
A. Jonsson, Farmer, came to county 1883.
 
Idylwild Kansas, 1912.

Idylwild, a hamlet in Clay county, is located 11 miles north of Clay Center, the county seat and postoffice from which its mail is delivered by rural route. The population in 1910 was 15.
