Children: Paul, Arthur, William, Harry and Nellie Swan.
Burial: Haddam Cemetery, Haddam, Washington County, Kansas.
Mr. Swan came to Washington County, Kansas in 1867, from lower Canada, and settled in the town of Haddam in the town ship of Mill Creek, where he started a business in General Merchandise.
