Wife: Mary Ann Thompson Crosby (1847 - 1925).
Children: Iona Crosby Staley (1868 - 1941).
Burial: Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis, Ottawa County, Kansas.
Mr. Crosby came to Ottawa County, Kansas, in 1872, and settled in the town of Minneapolis, Kansas, where he became the County Surveyor and Engineer, Optician. He served twenty-four years as County Surveyor. He was also a Civil War Veteran serving in the 34th., Iowa infantry Co. F.
