On the county map Tabor can be found in Township 7-south and Range 1-east. On the township map Tabor can be found in section 23. Tabor at one time sat in section 21, then some time before1881, the post office moved about three miles east to section 23.
Tabor Post Office.
Tabor post office open June 3, 1873 and ran to February 9, 1887, First postmaster was George Walker. In 1881 George Zadiken, was postmaster.
