On the county map Happy can be found in Township 9-south and Range 23-west.  On the township map Happy can be found in section 32.
 
Happy Post Office.
 
Happy started out as Happy Hollow who's post office open April 23, 1879 and ran to May 31, 1881, closed, then moved or changed name to just Happy.  Happy post office open May 14, 1883 and ran to May 7, 1884, closed then repoen July 22, 1885 and ran to November 15, 1906.  First postmaster was Nathaniel Crank.

J. L. Franklin, Farmer and Stock Raiser, came to county 1884
Philip Gan-?, Farmer and Stock Raiser.

J. S. Hunter, Farmer and Stock Raiser, came to county 1886.
James Lethem, Farmer and Stock Raiser, came to county 1899.
C. C. Miles, Farmer and Stock Raiser, came to county 1901.

Happy, a country hamlet in Graham county, is located 12 miles south of Hill City, the county seat and the postoffice from which it receives its mail.
