On the county map Rosette can be found in Township 11-south and Range 10-west.  On the Township map you can find Rosette in section 22 or 23, it's hard to tell.
 
Rosette Post Office.
 
Rosette post office open February 12, 1879 and ran to December 31, 1900. First postmaster was Joseph A.Peck.
 
There was only one patron of Hanover Township who used Rosette as their P. O. address as of 1901.

Rosette, a hamlet in Lincoln county, is located 15 miles west of Lincoln, the county seat, and 4 miles north of Sylvan Grove, the nearest railroad station and the place from which it receives mail. The population in 1910 was 53.
