Mr. Campbell came to Doniphan County,Kansas, in 1857, he settled in the township of Iowa, in the town of Highland,Kansas.  In 1867, he was a Insurance Agent, later his business was in General Merchandising.

He later moved to Smith County,Kansas, and settled in the township of Oak.  Where he lived in the town of Lebanon,Kansas where he was a Merchant.  Mr. Campbell was also a Civil War Veteran.
