Battles: Chickasaw Bayou, Sieges of Vicksburg and Jackson, Miss., Grand Coteau and Sabine Cross Roads, La., where wounded in right hand; Fort Gaines, Fort Morgan, Spanish Fort, Fort Blakely, Mobile and Whistler. Mustered out with Company July 7, 1865. Wellsford, Kansas.
