Burial: Gove Cemetery, Gove, Gove County, Kansas.
Mr.. Crippen first came to Russell County, Kansas, in 1879, with his parents he was 15, years old. Then moved to Gove
County in 1880. He later took a claim 3 miles south of Buffalo Park. In 1898
moved to Gove city, where he became a blacksmith and County Commissioner was also Mayor
of the City.
