Death: 1931, Barber County, Kansas.
Wife: Lenora E. Sterling.
Children: George E. and Eddie L. Sterling.
Burial: Hardtner Cemetery, Hardtner, Barber County, Kansas.
Mr. Sterling came to Barber county in 1884, and settled in Elwood township, where he was a farmer and breeder of short cattle. His post office address was Hardtner, Kansas, which was south-east of the farm.
Authors note. It's recorded that he settled on section 31, however he was found to be in section 36, on 480 acres.
