Death: Dec. 11, 1962, Oberlin, Decatur County, Kansas.
Parents: Henry Edward Counter (1852 - 1920), Letticia Ann Montgomery Counter (1869 - 1956).
Wife: Mabel Marie Adamson Counter (1888 - 1978).
Children: Geneva Marie Counter Morford (1916 - 2008), Maxine Velma Counter Bryan (1921 - 1995).
Burial: Oberlin Cemetery, Oberlin, Decatur County, Kansas.
MR. Counter was born in Decatur county in 1888, he would later settle in section 30, of Decatur township of Decatur county. He was a farmer and had a farm of 160 acres. His post office address was Decatur, Kansas, which was about 8 to 10 miles north east from the farm.
