Mr. Jenkins came to Pratt county and settled in section 5, of Grant township in 1879. He owned 320 acres where he was a Farmer and Stock Raiser and Breeder of Standard Percheron Horses. His post office was Cullison, Kansas, which is 7 miles north of the farm. His burial was at the Jenkins family cemetery, which is in Coats, Kansas, in Pratt, county, Kansas, which is 7 miles south--east of the farm.
