Burial: Gove Cemetery, Gove, Gove County, Kansas.

Mr. Brown came to Gove County, Kansas, in 1886 and settled in the township pf Gove, in the town of Gove, Kansas.  He was a real business of the town being the Prop. of the Brown's Hotel, Dealer in General Merchandise, Manager of the Gove County Telephone Company.  He was also a Farmer and Stock Raiser.
