John Samuel Goodrich.

Birth: Oct. 9, 1831, Bainbridge, Chenango County, New York.
Death: Feb. 3, 1918, Linn County, Kansas.

Parents: Jeremiah Goodrich, Sophronia Melandy Goodrich

Wife: Frances M Goode Goodrich (1845 - 1929).

Children: in 1900, they had two living children, but names where not found.

Grandsons: Carl Alonzo Goodrich, John S. Bearly, Glenn Bearly, Floyd Bearly, Carl Sabine.

Married January 1, 1870..

Burial: Goodrich Cemetery, Goodrich, Linn County, Kansas.

Mr. Goodrich came to Linn county , Kansas and settled in Liberty Township in the town of Parker, Kansas, he was a Farmer.  Later moved to Goodrich, Kansas, where he was the Proprietor of the Liberty Feed and Sale Stable.  He was also a Civil War Veteran.

He was listed under Samuel Goodrich, Private; Residence Centerville; Enlisted January 2, 1862; Mustered in same; promoted to Corporal; Sergeant: Mustered out January 3, 1865, at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.; ,
