James H. Jay.

Death: 1925.

Wife: Laura E. Jay, ( 1850-1904. )

Married 1882.

Children: Lida, Lena Jay.

Burial: Sunset Lawns Cemetery, El Dorado, Butler County, Kansas.

I have no idea when he came to Butler County, Kansas,, but he was living in El Dorado, Kansas, in 1885.  He was a Barber, his business was called Grand Army Flag Barber Shop. He was still in business in 1900.  He was also a Civil War Veteran.
