Merrit Noyes.

Birth: August 15,1842, Massachusetts.
Death: February 13,1889.

Parents: John Newton Noyes and Betsey Bicknell Noyes.

Wife: Hellen " Helen", L. Dailey Noyes.

Children: Alfred H., Walter M., Abbie M. Noyes.

Burial: Oakwood Cemetery, Parsons, Labette County,Kansas.

Mr.Noyes may have been in Parsons as early as 1867.  In 1873 he was making his living as the proprietor of the Parsons House on Riggs Ave.

In 1880 he was in the business of being a Insurance and Real Estate Agt.  Mr.Noyes was also a Civil War Veteran.
