Mr. Pugh first settled in Norton County, in the town of Norton, Kansas. Later he settled in Osborne County, Kansas, in the township of Ross, in the town of Downs, Kansas. In Downs he was in Real Estate Collections. HE was also a dealer in Sewing Machines, Bicycles, Pianos, Organs and Musical Merchandise..
