Burial: Gardner Cemetery, Gardner, Johnson County, Kansas.
Mr. Harker came to Johnson county in 1883, and settled in section 24, of Olathe township. He was the superintendent of the County Farm. Lived in the Poor House in section 24, the County Farm was about a half mile north in section 13. His post office address was Olathe, Kansas, which was a mile south from the Poor House.
