On the county map you can find Flavius in township 19-south and range 20-west.  On the township map you can find Flavius in section 26.
 
Flavius Post Office.
 
Flavius post office open September 21, 1880 and ran to November 30, 1895, closed and reopen April 2, 1896 and ran to February 29, 1908.  First postmaster was Charles F. Carr.
 
There was only one patron listed with a Flavius P. O. address as of 1901.

Flavius, a discontinued postoffice of Belle Prairie township, Rush county, is situated about 14 miles southwest of La Crosse, the county seat, and 7 miles from Nekoma, whence mail is received by rural route.
