On the county map you can find Crotty in township 22-south and Range 15-east.  On the township map you can find Crotty in section 33.
 
Crotty Post Office.
 
Crotty post office open September 20, 1887 and ran to August 15, 1906.  First postmaster was Chris A. Charters.
 
There was only one patron list who used Crotty as their P. O. address as of 1901.

Crotty, a station on the Missouri Pacific R. R., in Coffey county, is located 8 miles south of Burlington, the county seat, and about the same distance west of LeRoy, from which point it receives mail. The population in 1910 was reported as being 50.
