On the county map Wagstaff can be found in township 15 & 16-south and range 24 & 25-east.  On the township map Wagstaff can be found in section 18.
 
Wagstaff Post Office.
 
Wagstaff post office open June 7, 1888 and ran to November 30, 1933.  First postmaster was Abraham Rohrer.
 
There was ony one patron from Ten mile township who used Wagstaff as their P. O.. address as of 1901.
 
F. H. Gieseke, farmer, came to county 1898.
 
Wagstaff Kansas, 1912.
 
Wagstaff, a village in the northeastern part of Miami county, is on the Missouri Pacific R. R., 8 miles northeast of Paola, the county seat. It has a money order postoffice, telegraph and express offices, and in 1910 had a population of 35.
