Fox & Okaw Post Ofices.

Here are tow Kansas post offices long fore gotten, but I know some out there, there is some one interested in knowning just where they were.

Fox Post Office.

Kingman County.

On the county map you can find Fox in Town 30-south and Range 9-west.  On the Township map you can find fox in section 32.

 

Fox Post Office.

 

Fox post office open July 13, 1888 and ran to July 31, 1903.  First poatmaster was Mrs. Sue Fox  another  postmasters was J. H. Jacobs ( 1903 ), also a Farmer and Stock Raiser.  He also own the land the post office sat on.

 

Okaw Post Office.

Okaw Post Office.

 

Okaw poost office open July 9, 1888 and ran to March 15, 1905.  First postmaster was Lucian L houer or hover.

 

Okaw Kansas, 1912.

 

Okaw, a country hamlet near the south line of Kingman county, is located 20 miles southwest of Kingman, the county seat. It receives mail from Duquoin, Harper county.
