Fancy Creek Kansas

On the county map Fancy Creek can be found in Township 6-south and Range 4-east.  On the township map Fancy Creek can be found in section 33 or 34, it's hard to tell.

Fancy Creek Post Office.

Post office open December 9, 1870 and ran to April 15, 1901, First postmaster was James A. D. Frazelle. He also taught the first school in a log schoolhouse in the fall of 1866.

Fancy Creek, a small settlement in Clay county, is located on the stream of the same name about 13 miles northeast of Clay Center, the county seat. Mail is received by rural route from Palmer, which is the most convenient railroad station.
