Boyle Kansas.

Boyle is other Kansas town you can't find to much on.  I was able to find that the town was named after John Selton Boyle  Little is known about Boyle.  All the information I found on Boyle is posted here.

On the county map Boyle can be found in township 8 & 9-South and Range 17, 19 & 20-East.  On the township map Boyle can be found in section 24.
 
Boyle Post Office.
 
Boyle opst office open October 21, 1872 and ran to January 26, 1882, closed then reopen on April 18, 1884 and ran to February 28, 1945.  First post master was Benjamin R. Kendall.

The directory only list on business man for Boyle, he was J. R. King, who was a Farmer and Stock Raiser.
J. R. King was born in 1856 and died in 1926.  His wife was Ruth Isabelle Horner King, born 1862 died 1952, bouth burials are in Spring Grove Cemetery, Winchester, Jefferson county, Kansas.
 
Boyle Kansas, 1912.

Boyle, a station on the Union Pacific R. R. in Jefferson county, is located about 5 miles from Valley Falls and 9 miles from Oskaloosa, the county seat. It has a money order postoffice. The population in 1910 was 18.
