Happy got its start on June 1, 1880, on the banks of Happy Creek
Happy Post Office.
Happy Post Office open May 14, 1883 and ran to May 7, 1884, closed then reopen on July 22, 1885 and ran to November 15, 1906. The first Postmaster was Nathaniel Crank, from 1883-84.
